Message from Director

At the Institute of Social Development (ISD), our journey over the past two decades has been driven by a deep commitment to creating meaningful and sustainable change in the lives of underserved communities.
With over 20 years of experience in the development sector, I have witnessed firsthand the complex challenges faced by rural and marginalized populations—ranging from limited access to quality healthcare and education to issues of livelihood, child protection, and environmental sustainability. These realities continue to inspire our mission and strengthen our resolve.
ISD works across diverse yet interconnected sectors including Health, Education, Skill Development and Livelihood Generation, Capacity Building, Child Protection, Drinking Water and Sanitation, Rural Development and Awareness, Environmental Sanitation, Agriculture & Allied activities, and Survey & Data Work. Our integrated approach ensures that development is not fragmented but holistic, inclusive, and sustainable.
We strongly believe that community participation, evidence-based planning, and partnerships are the pillars of effective development. Through our initiatives, we aim not only to deliver services but also to empower individuals and institutions to become self-reliant and resilient.
As we move forward, ISD remains committed to innovation, transparency, and impact-driven interventions. We look forward to collaborating with government agencies, CSR partners, and like-minded organizations to scale our efforts and create lasting change.
Together, let us build a more equitable and empowered society.
