1. Project Overview

Under the Targeted Intervention (TI) Project, ISD works towards HIV/AIDS prevention, awareness, testing, and treatment linkage among High-Risk Groups (HRGs), particularly FSWs and MSMs.

The project focuses on behavior change communication, regular health screening, and ensuring access to preventive and treatment services.

Awareness generation on HIV/AIDS prevention
Registration and counselling of HRG population
Distribution of condoms and lubricants for STI prevention
Regular HIV and VDRL testing (twice a year)
Quarterly health check-ups (RMC)
Organization of CBS camps and health camps
TB screening and referral service
Linkage of HIV - positive individuals to ART Centers
Monitoring of CD4 count and Viral Load for PLHIV

  • 24 CBS camps conducted with 477 beneficiaries reached
