1. Project Overview

The Targeted Intervention (TI) Project implemented by ISD in Sitarganj aims to reduce the risk of HIV/AIDS transmission among high-risk groups, particularly IDUs.

The project focuses on prevention, awareness, early diagnosis, and linkage to treatment and care services.


2. Key Activities
Distribution of needles, syringes, condoms, and IEC materials
Organization of health camps for basic medical services
Screening and treatment for STIs and general health issues
Conducting Community-Based Screening (CBS) camps
Drop-in Centre (DIC) meetings and crisis response activities
Advocacy meetings with stakeholders
Awareness campaigns on HIV/AIDS prevention
Referral services to ICTC, ART Centres, NGO Clinics, DOTS, DSRC & OST Centres
